The activities of the Presbyterian Women are open to ALL women of the church who wish to take part

".....open to all women of the church"

The Presbyterian Women's Association of this church is a part of a larger organization that was birthed as a missionary aid society many years ago. Today we continue to support missions, both locally and beyond.

Please take a moment to see what the Presbyterian Women have planned!

The PW Morning Bible Study meets at 305 S. 9th St. on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month at 10 am. The next meetings will be Tuesday, May 11 and 25th. We are continuing to study from the book, "Lord I Want To Know You". Anyone interested in coming, call Peggy Gillespie, 249-5601 for more information.

BIRTHDAY LUNCHEON:

The Presbyterian Women celebrate birthdays on the first Monday of each month at various locations.

This month: Feb. 6 at noon at Oishi's in Montesano. We will be honoring Emily Meier & Louise Simmelink.

Please contact Karen Jarvis (249-5502) if you plan to attend, for additional information regarding this monthly event, or if you would like to be added or removed from the list.

PW Planning Meeting

Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1:00 pm - A general meeting to plan coming events, such as a tea in April and a possible Craft Fair in the fall. A cake and fruit snack will be served. Last year's Spring Tea was a huge success, so we're hoping for a good turnout for this planning meeting.

Cancelled due to a scheduling conflict

Dear Ladies:

The Monte Pres Women coordinating team had originally scheduled the next Monte Pres Women’s general meeting to be on Saturday, February 11^th.  There were 3 items on the agenda.  Due to another event being scheduled that night, we decided to try doing a wide-spread email to cover the topics.

1.      In April, we will be having a tea once again like last year.  It was so much fun to see all the individually decorated tables. 

a.      We have 10 tables to decorate and if you are interested in decorating and hostessing a table this year, please respond to me and we will put you on the list. 

b.      We also need an overall coordinator for the event that can put together a small team to oversee the food signups, coffee/tea preparation, clean up crew, etc.  If you would like to do that, please reply to me. 

c.      If you would like to be on that team, please reply to me.

2.      We would like to know if there is any interest in doing a craft fair again.  If you are interested in helping plan, craft, work the day of the fair; please reply to me.   If there is enough interest in this project, the coordinating committee will help the group get going.  It hasn’t been decided whether this can happen this year or in 2013 – that will depend on the response.

3.      We are looking for a new mission to support.  If you have any ideas of a mission that the MPW can believe in helping, please reply.  The committee will review all the submissions and bring the information to the April tea.
