Mark your calendars now for this years Community Bible Camp (CBC) scheduled for July 7 - 11. CBC is open to all children of the community Preschool (age 4) - 6 th grade. Once again the children will begin their morning at the Church of God, moving from church to church for different activities. This is a wonderful experience for our young disciples, and the CBC has grown each year. If you are interested in helping in any area, kitchen, skits, food, teaching to name a few, please contact our Christian Education Elders, Suzanne Shea (532-2685), Lisa Ulakovich (249-5835) or Lori Minzey (249-3602)

"Sonworld Adventure Park"

Monte Pres has been asked to supply 8 bags of Rhodes Dough dinner rolls and 8 gal. of apple juice.  Donations of these items will be welcome.

Also needed by June 8:

• glitter
• sequins
• glue
• plastic jewels
• glitter glue
• feathers - any color
• acrylic paint - all colors
• christian stickers
• large paper bags
• newspaper
• old cd disks

Items may be placed in the marked box in the library.

We are starting something new - a Sundayschool student of the month. Each month the name of a Sunday school student will be drawn and they will be interviewed, with a short profile to appear in each month's newsletter. Congratulations to our first student of the month, Riley Geer!

Riley attends the 1st - 3rd grade Sunday school class and is in the 2nd grade at Elma Elementary School. He is eight years old and his birthday is June 4th. His favorite color is green and his favorite food is pizza. In his spare time he also enjoys playing baseball. Riley and his family just traveled to Disneyland over Spring Break. Make sure you ask him about his favorite ride!
